The Trainer is the primary HR business partner responsible for designing, developing and implementing new and current corporate/regional exempt/non-exempt training programs that promote and facilitate the development of a skilled and high performing workforce.



Responsibilities:
  • Business Partner supporting company initiatives including client interaction and implementations.
  • Designs, develops, implements and delivers corporate and regional exempt/non-exempt training and development programs including writing of presentations, facilitator/participant guides, etc.
  • Coordinates with Manager of Training & Development to maintain appropriate corporate and regional training and development reports and records
  • Maintains corporate training database with class schedules, registration, attendance, etc.
  • Conducts Departmental surveys and needs analysis as required
  • Maintain corporate training resource library. Distribute resources and self study programs to company personnel as needed and monitor their usage
  • Coordinate on-line learning registrations for Corporate and Regional Employees
  • Conducts on and off-site custom training programs
  • Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation, as well as new site orientation as needed
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with managers and key business partners
  • Serves as regional resource for HR policies and benefit issues
  • Performs administrative functions relating to all aspects of HR
  • When needed assists coordination and/or conducting interviews within the region and works with recruiter to place employees in available positions
  • Assists with employee counseling, coaching, and proper documentation of performance issues


Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 year college degree required
  • 3-5 years of training experience in design, development, implementation and evaluation in an HR professional environment
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of training software (i.e. On-Track, Captivate, Dreamweaver, etc.)
