Join our team as an Information Technology Intern.

Program Description:

The Global Information Services (GIS) Organization at Harley-Davidson supports the company by maximizing the value of information and technology through close alignment with business strategies and trusted relationships. GIS supports the business by delivering technology infrastructure and business application development and support.
Interns will have the opportunity to gain professional experience within the GIS organization by supporting initiatives within one of the following areas:

  • Product and capability teams uniquely focused on customers, dealers, and employees
  • Corporate Information Security Office (CISO) and Data Privacy Office (DPO)
  • Office of the CIO
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Center of Excellence
  • Enterprise Architecture
  • Information Management
  • Infrastructure
  • Operations


Interns will have the opportunity to gain real-world experience while working and collaborating with GIS Managers and H-D Leaders. Interns will have the opportunity to build a network across the organization and experience the unique culture of Harley-Davidson.

Education Required:

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; Business degree with a major or minor in IT required
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale


Experience Required:

  • Prior professional internship or co-op experience in IT or business preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership through school and/or community involvement
  • Ability to adapt in various work environments and situations
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with all levels of staff, management and executives
  • Citizenship or permanent residency for location of their employment
  • Strong Computer Skills

This position is part of the IGNITE Program, Harley's College Relations and Talent Development Program. IGNITE consists of robust and formalized internship and co-op assignments, as well as full-time rotational development programs.
