Position Summary:

Assists the Branch Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the branch. Coaches staff to optimum performance by providing guidance and supervision to tellers and MSR as needed so that the staff is preforming their duties and tasks properly and on a timely basis. Conveys a feeling of trust, service, security, and satisfaction to members and staff.

Complies with all state, federal and NCUA regulations. This individual works autonomously to oversee the efficient operation of the branch ensuring all operational functions are completely and properly performed. Directs staff in maintaining member loyalty and carries out supervisory responsibilities while abiding by MECU policies, laws, and procedures. Directs branch staff in attaining results and meeting/exceeding goals relative to expanding existing and potential member relationships, developing new business, and generating loan growth Also, be proficient to oversee the teller and platform functions as well as decision loans. Coaches staff to optimum performance and acts as a backup MSR when needed.

Saturday hours required.

Requirements:

Associates Business required

Bachelors Business Preferred; or at least 5 to 7 years previous financial institution experience.

Experience:

Minimum five (5) years Financial Required

Minimum of 3-5 years Supervisory/Coaching Required

Minimum of 3-5 years Effective Decision Making Required

Related experience in a financial institution, preferably in a credit union.

Teller and Member Service Representative experience, which involves extensive loan knowledge or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.

Lending Certification Within 3 years Lending Certification - complete first module within first year in position, modules 2 & 3 within second year and modules 4 & 5 within third year in position.

Obtain and/or maintain Notary Commission
