Athletic Trainer Poughkeepsie, NY
The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a full-time, 11-month position as an Athletic Trainer. Athletic Trainers (ATs) are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Athletic trainers work under the direction of a physician as prescribed by state licensure statutes.
Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Poughkeepsie, NY
The College is a member of the NCAA and supports 23 Division I athletic programs which compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will design strength and conditioning programs for assigned varsity sports teams, monitor student-athlete performance, work with head coaches in setting performance goals, and provide nutritional information. In addition, the coach will monitor weight room fitness equipment and the hiring and managing of interns and other duties assigned by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.

The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as an Assistant Coach, Women's & Men's Track & Field. The Assistant Coach, Women’s and Men’s Track & Field, is responsible for assisting and implementing all phases of the women’s and men’s track program – with special emphasis on the multi events, including, but not limited to: event coaching in jumps, throws, hurdles and sprints – in accordance with all rules and regulations of the NCAA, MAAC and Marist College. The coach’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting qualified student-athletes from a diverse background (ethnically and geographically) who can compete in a highly selective academic environment, scheduling of away competitions and coordinating travel with the Associate Athletic Director, Business Operations, supporting the academic progress of student-athletes; working with the track coaching staff in preparing and managing the budget; scheduling and conducting practice sessions in all event areas across a wide spectrum of student-athlete events in track and field; and, implementing strategies for developing and motivating student-athletes to perform at maximum levels – including enhanced motivational techniques and an emphasis on the mental health and well-being of all student-athletes in the program.
Non-Recruiting Assistant Coach Poughkeepsie, NY
The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as a Non-Recruiting Assistant Coach for Men’s Basketball. The responsibilities for this position include coordinating travel, summer camps, equipment, and supervision of the team's managers. Assist men’s basketball head coach with day-to-day administrative needs, coordinate team travel and logistics, assist with scheduling of practices and games, manage equipment, organize summer camps, coordinate use of facilities, oversee student managers, and provide technical or tactical instruction to student-athletes.
