Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health with outstanding clinical leadership skills. Under the direction of the Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health, the successful candidate will assist in overseeing all clinical and administrative activities within the Adult Outpatient services including the delivery of high quality and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities Include:
-Assist Director in managing and directing all operations within the Adult Outpatient behavioral health service
-Encourage and develop initiatives aligning with the strategic plan to support all service needs in regards to the mission and direction of the hospital
-Supervise a multidisciplinary team who work in collaboration with patients and their families including attending psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, creative arts therapists, social work, and nursing
-Responsible to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfactions goals and objectives set forth by the hospital
-In collaboration with the Director of OPD, review/revise guidelines for standards of care ensuring Adult Outpatient meets all OMH regulatory requirements
Requirements:
-Eligible for license in the state of NY
-Board certified MD licensed in NY
-3 years’ of related clinical leadership experience preferred
-Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
-Clinical, interpersonal/communication and team-building skills

Salary range for this position is $250k-$270k
