Description

We are seeking a Project Scheduler to work based at our client site in New York, NY! The Project Scheduler will supervise and direct all planning and scheduling activities of project through application of diversified controls, systems, principles, and practices.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan, coordinate, supervise and direct all planning and scheduling activities on a project.
  • Provide administrative and technical direction and development/implementation of project controls standards and procedures.
  • Interface/maintain liaison with project management, client, contractors, etc. on all planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress status, new impacts, etc.
  • Represent company and/or project in meetings with client, A/E representatives and other contractors as required.
  • Ensure that project planning and schedule standards are implemented and that all project related activities comply.

Secondary Functions:

  • May serve as staff specialist in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes.
  • Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Qualifications

Needed Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, principles, and practices plus the ability to solve complex problems, implement procedures and maintain liaison with units both internally and externally essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills required.

Education/Experience Minimum:

  • Four-year degree plus seven years similar construction scheduling experience or equivalent.
  • Advanced degree and/or Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
  • Preferred experience: airport terminal buildings, airport terminal facilities and systems at a medium and/or large air carrier airport.
