Crowe LLP is looking for an Audit Partner to join our Auto Dealership Audit practice. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop the Auto Dealership Audit practice. Ideal candidate will thrive on opportunity to "take ownership" of growing and managing their portfolio within this practice.

  • Grow and develop the Auto Dealership Audit practice taking ownership managing the practice, ability to quickly build a network of business contacts and referral sources
  • Function as an industry leader through the establishment of a professional reputation and network
  • Lead all phases of the audit process, ensure quality assurance standards are being practiced while providing exceptional client service
  • Develop a thorough assessment and understanding of client's business needs and objectives, integrate a deep understanding of a professional services environment to achieve desired results
  • Ensure that all deliverables are prepared accurately while anticipating, identifying and addressing client concerns and problems as they arise
  • Work within budgetary and time constraints while providing high-level client satisfaction and audit quality
  • Promote new ideas and business solutions which result in allowable extended services to existing clients
  • Help build a dedicated and motivated team of professionals to accomplish the vision and strategy positioning Crowe as a leader in retail dealership assurance services
  • Ensure professional development for self and team through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
  • Serve as a role model, providing mentoring and training to staff members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, masters or advanced degree desirable
  • Certified Public Accountant required
  • 12+ years of experience providing financial statement audit services in public accounting preferred, strong expertise in the auto dealership industry
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
  • Innovative and forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in building, developing, and sustaining clients and teams
  • Strong organizations skills with the ability to strategically plan for growth, innovation and exceptional client service
  • Ability to cross-sell firm services to existing client base while adhering to independence standards
