Job Description:

Support the growth and development of the private equity advisory practice within our transaction services team in New York.

You will be a part of a highly skilled and performance-driven team of transaction advisory experts, dedicated to providing unparalleled services to some of the world's top private equity firms. You will be a trusted advisor to Crowe's clients and your expertise will be critical in providing strategic advice, leading engagements, and delivering services under the highest standards of integrity and precision. You will demonstrate your ability to proactively collaborate with clients to advise and support their business needs at all stages of the investment lifecycle. Additionally, you will develop and promote innovative ideas and business solutions that result in successful attraction of new clients as well as extended services to existing clients.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for clients and target companies across multiple industries including manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, technology, construction, retail, business services, and food and commodities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the strategic vision for the transaction services advisory practice in collaboration with the other Directors and practice leaders

  • Promote strong client relationships through direct interactions with current and prospective clients to provide high-quality client service

  • Position team for successful engagement execution, quality results and client satisfaction by clearly working within project parameters, managing resources and processes while anticipating and resolving issues

  • Promote innovative ideas and business solutions which result in allowable extended services to existing clients

  • Work within budgetary and time constraints while providing high-level client satisfaction

  • Help build a dedicated and motivated team of professionals to accomplish the vision and strategy serving as a role model providing mentorship and professional development

  • Conduct engagements in compliance with applicable professional, legal, regulatory, and firm requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, master's or advanced degree desirable

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred

  • At least 12+ years of experience in transaction advisory services / mergers and acquisitions

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience

  • Established expertise with private equity clients

  • Innovative and forward-thinking leader with a proven history inbuilding, developing, and sustaining clients and teams while providing exceptional client service

  • Ability to strategically plan for growth, cross-sell firm services while adhering to independence standards


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $185,455.00 to $442,002.00.
