The Team- Strategy & Transformation

Join a team of talented professionals with deep business and finance transformation experience to guide clients through major transactions (M&A, carve outs, IPOs), new system implementations, and organizational challenges. We help organizations develop business strategy and execute on transformation initiatives in the areas of operational accounting, financial process improvement, financial technology enablement, FP&A, and transactions.

We are seeking a client-facing professional with deep private equity and deal lifecycle experience and expertise to work with our client service teams to deliver leading edge results. This role works closely with the firm's Private Equity Services leadership team to serve our private equity and portfolio company clients, identify and pursue business development opportunities, and further MorganFranklin's brand in the private equity space.

Your Impact

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with private equity firm leaders and C-Suite portfolio company clients
  • Guide multiple project teams' delivery and create value for private equity firms and portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle
  • Lead and advise on multiple engagements related to due diligence/valuations/synergies, post-merger integrations, target operating models, optimization, and carveouts/divestitures/IPOs across IT, Finance & Accounting, Operations, Sales/GTM, and Human Capital domains
  • Provide depth to understand clients' strategies, objectives, and needs; identify options and solutions to achieve their performance goals
  • Drive client engagement, governance, and relationship development to generate new client engagement opportunities
  • Lead efforts and initiatives to build MorganFranklin's reputation as a thought leader in the private equity space
  • Partner across MorganFranklin and family of brands to advance Private Equity Services solution/service development, business development, and client delivery
  • Perform role of coach; drive people development and team building; actively participate in recruitment and retention activities

Your Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business, Accounting, or Finance,
  • 11+ years of experience working within the PE ecosystem, both at the fund level and with portfolio companies. At least 3 years of recent client-facing experience in a professional services organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of helping private equity firms and/or portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle
  • Experience serving private equity firms or portfolio companies in at least three of the following areas:
    • Due diligence and synergy assessments
    • Merger integration
    • Divestiture/carveout planning and execution
    • Target Operating Models and business transformation/optimization
    • Financial due diligence, modeling and FP&A
    • Developing management reporting and Board reporting
  • Deep functional expertise in at least one of the following areas:
    • Finance & Accounting
    • Operations
    • Sales/GTM
    • Human Resources/Human Capital
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate new business and achieve revenue growth goals
  • Prior experience working directly with and advising C-Level executives, including experience presenting complex ideas and facilitating executive workshops
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience managing multiple teams of 4-8 people to deliver complex engagements under high pressure situations, supporting the career development and success of junior staff.
  • Flexibility to travel at least 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration (may substitute for business-related undergraduate degree).
  • CPA
