As a Network Engineer, Junior you will:

• Assist in preparing network plans with prime consideration on capacity, scalability & expandability.

A week in the life of a Network Engineer, Junior:

• Perform a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipment.
• Provide assistance and oversight for information systems operations activities, including computer and telecommunications/communications operations, data entry, data control, network administration and operations support, operating systems programming, system security policy procedures, and/or web strategy and operations. Supports network operations, systems security, systems software support, and production support activities.
• Monitor and respond to hardware, software, and network problems.

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• High School Diploma
• 0-2years experience as a Network Engineer
• CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
