Job Description

Chentronics LLC, a Koch Engineering Solutions company, is looking to add a Mechanical Assembler to our team based in Norwich, NY.

We are looking for candidates with a passion and excitement for contributing to our Mechanical Assembly Department. We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic team member who is ready for hands-on work learning new processes and equipment. The successful candidate will work well in a collaborative and supportive environment and will provide quality, timely results.


What You Will Do

  • Assembly of small components using appropriate tools / equipment
  • Light packaging of department products for shipment
  • Resistance welding.
  • Cutting components using various devices
  • Induction Brazing
  • Proficient in using basic hand and air tools such as drill, grinder, cutting wheels, wrench, and clamps.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Ability to interpret written instructions.
  • Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, tape measures accurately.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment or similar.
  • Basic hand tool knowledge
  • Basic manufacturing knowledge

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Manual lathe operation.
  • Tig welding
  • Resistance welding

Depending on experience, this role will pay $19-$22/hour
