Job Description

Reporting to the Sr Director of Finance Systems, the Senior Product Manager will be a key member in helping drive GLG's mission to modernize the Accounting and Finance systems. You will take the principal role in devising the strategy, developing product requirements, and overseeing execution for many high impact initiatives. You will support aspects of ideation, prototyping, solution proposals, and resolution of issues to successfully meet product goals and deliverables. You'll have responsibility for scaling these products and capabilities across the company by collaborating with key stakeholders in Engineering, Accounting, Sales, Legal, and Commercial Strategy etc. to develop products that solve common business questions that are aligned to the broader enterprise transformation roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Define Enterprise Transformation product scope and goals across key functional areas such as Accounting, Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, and Commercial etc. and represent the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Document requirements, user stories, personas, project journey maps, release schedules, acceptance criteria, and other strategic documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprised of business users, technology, BI and reporting, and other subject matter experts, to develop and deliver on products and solutions that is in alignment with the enterprise transformation roadmap and vision.
  • Quantify, and communicate the impact of these deliverables.
  • Identify and manage dependencies and critical path items to ensure the project execution is carried out timely and within budget.
  • Keep current on industry trends, technological advances, and new product capabilities to continually inspire and evolve our corporate functions' ability to support GLG as we grow and innovate.

Experience / Skills:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product lifecycle management, specifically around key process areas such as Quote-to-Cash, Contract Life cycle management and Record-to-Report etc.
  • Relevant product development experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce.com, Conga CPQ, Workday, Dynamics GP, or similar and integration technologies (APIs, iPaaS and ETL etc.)
  • Data-driven thinker with experience analyzing and creating business requirements and translating them into detailed functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and project roadmaps.
  • Experienced with using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform product recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple work streams with projects in various phases from ideation through delivery, manage stakeholder expectations and deliver on time and within budget.
  • Track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially when you must use inspiration, motivation, and collaboration instead of direct reporting lines to get things done.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize features and releases, define product requirements and KPIs, create UI/UX wireframes, develop and maintain the product roadmap and work with Developers to QA and launch products.
  • Kanban/agile experience in partnerships with engineering teams
  • Ability to be "stand alone" in senior client, colleague, and executive stakeholder settings.

Excellent communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral, written and presentation abilities.

Working Environment: Flexible / Hybrid working arrangements typically requiring 2 days per week in office.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$141,000-$162,500 USD
