Job Description

Reporting to the Sr Director of Finance Systems, the Technical Product Manager will be a key member helping drive GLG's mission to modernize our business systems. You will take the principal role in gathering requirements, documenting user stories, acceptance criterion, evaluating off the shelf solutions and partnering with business stakeholders to select and implement best in class solutions that drive effectiveness and a better client and Network Member experience. As an extension of the business units, the Technical Product Manager will also partner on enablement, change management to help ensure adoption and better business outcomes for our growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the requirements gathering, documentation, selection of new technology solutions that provide a delightful experience for our business units.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to document business problems, potential solutions and measurement criteria for success.
  • Document wireframes and workflows to support requirements.
  • Lead prototype and beta testing to develop and validate hypothesis to support effective decision making.
  • Partner with business unit leaders and stakeholders to implement new solutions, provide enablement and effectively manage change.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprised of business users, technology, BI and reporting, and other subject matter experts.
  • Identify dependencies and critical path items to ensure the sprint plan stays on target.
  • Keep current on tools and processes that help in undertaking business and systems analysis.

Experience / Skills:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in business and systems analysis preferably in the Finance, FinTech, or Accounting industry.
  • 5+ years in product management experience in delivering business systems and solutions to internal business customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in multiple work streams with projects in various phases from ideation through delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence people in a matrixed environment.
  • Track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to create UI/UX wireframes, product briefs to communicate ideas.
  • Experience with agile engineering processes and methods.
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral, written and presentation abilities.

Working Environment: Flexible / Hybrid working arrangements typically requiring 2 days per week in office.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$128,100-$150,000 USD
