PLI is searching for a marketing professional to fill the role of Associate Digital Product Manager (responsibilities and qualifications are described below). The Associate Digital Product Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of web, mobile, and multimedia products, focusing on non-quarterly project backlog management and the prioritization of critical issues. The position entails active collaboration in problem-solving and enhancing digital experiences, requiring strong competencies in Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Key responsibilities include ensuring product reliability and efficiency, and effective communication with stakeholders to maintain product quality and meet delivery timelines. The ideal candidate should have a background in Business or a technical field, with a strong emphasis on analytical and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibility for day-to-day operation of our user-facing digital experiences across web, mobile and multimedia platforms. Work with the team to identify, monitor, and address issues affecting the digital experience promptly, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of product quality.
  • Backlog management of small enhancement requests and defects. Communicate detailed and clear product requirements through backlog ticket refinement and help ensure the team delivers according to the planned timelines.
  • Work with the Scrummaster, Quality Assurance (QA) and Business Analyst (BA) teams to steward the UAT process through business approvals, including setting up environments and walking stakeholders through the needed review.
  • Assist BAs and Product Managers (PMs) in creating comprehensive and clear documentation, ensuring all aspects are thoroughly covered from the Product perspective.
  • Assist the BAs in troubleshooting issues that arise from integrations with clients or other internal departments.
  • Work closely with the Senior Product Manager to drive forward planned quarterly projects, keeping track of sprint progress and communicating status.
  • Work with DevOps to ensure optimal performance of digital products by continuously monitoring their speed and reliability.
  • Assist BAs to groom and refine tickets for quarterly planning projects.
  • Attend monthly deployments and hot fixes.
  • Learn the content management system and how to make content edits in order to offer support/backup when needed for daily activities or deployments.
  • Pull reports though internal tracking systems or Google Analytics to help determine feature priority.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred
  • 4-6 years' experience in a scrum master or Associate Digital Product Manager role, following agile methodolgies Preferred or
  • 4-6 years' experience as a project manager with a technology background
  • Solid understanding of the Agile framework and Atlassian work management system. (High proficiency)
  • Experience in defect tracking, triaging, and management. (Medium proficiency)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. (High proficiency)
  • Experience with content management systems. Optimizely/Episerver experience a plus. (Low proficiency)
  • Strong communication and organization skills. (High proficiency)

COMPENSATION RANGE FOR THIS POSITION

$X,000 - $X,000 per annum
