We have an opening for a Manager, Lateral Partner Onboarding and Integration.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing our onboarding and integration efforts for newly hired partners and their teams. The Manager will also proactively support Firm Leadership and Executive Team, and work closely with our lateral partner recruiting team on our full-cycle lateral partner recruiting process.

In this capacity, the Manager, Lateral Partner Onboarding and Integration will:

  • Manage and lead the lateral partner onboarding and integration process in collaboration with the Firm Chair, Managing Partner, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Talent Officer, Managing Director of Talent Acquisition and lateral hiring team;
  • Prioritize candidate experience above all else and respond to competing needs from multiple new joiners;
  • Work closely with the lateral hiring team and provide support as needed;
  • Serve as point of contact for candidates once they have accepted offer;
  • Manage overall onboarding process and work closely with local Directors of Business Operations, HR, Benefits and Technology to ensure smooth transition to the Firm;
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute ongoing integration plans;
  • Work beyond scheduled hours as required, including assisting with time-sensitive requests in the evenings and/or on weekends; and
  • Handle additional related projects, as assigned.

Proficiencies:

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and initiate action to move the integration process forward;
  • Ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization;
  • Creative problem solver; Able to manage through ambiguity; Apply solid judgment and take action;
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills;
  • Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate in a complex matrixed organization;
  • Exceptional project and time management skills;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; and
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with regard to all partner-related information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (required);
  • At least 7 years work experience; and
  • At least 5 years of law firm recruiting experience (required).

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $130,000 and a maximum of $165,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
