How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

is a focused product line within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing a diverse portfolio of highly purified specialty gases to our customers. The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.

  • Schedules repair, preventative maintenance and qualification of chemical, slurry, and gas distribution equipment.

  • Develops/revises preventative maintenance program in conjunction with maintenance staff and customer

  • Provide updates to customer on equipment interruptions

  • Review daily work load to ensure customer priorities are being met

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding all contractual agreements with customer for Maintenance Team activities.

  • Manage R&M workforce

  • Responsible for ensuring training of employees in all aspects of the operation.

  • Interface with customer contact concerning maintenance team activities

  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with the customer.

  • Help control operations costs.

  • Coordinate with Site Manager, account manager and the customer.

  • Review component trends and suggest improvement to customer and OEM manufacture

  • Coordinate with other TGCM Managers to share "Best Practices".

  • Review existing standard operating procedures for accuracy

  • Update and maintain Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions.

  • Develop training plans for maintenance staff

  • Keep current all required documentation for OSHA, ISO, Air Liquide America, and Customer Audits

  • Safety Leadership is a primary accountability.

  • Develop, review and approve non standard work instructions

  • Review outstanding CMMS work orders and ensure updates are given to customer

  • Plan and execute plant shutdown R&M activities

  • During equipment interruptions provide technical guidance as needed

  • Available to answer calls/emails 24/7

  • Attend all required Air Liquide and customer meetings

  • Complete customer required reports by specified due date

  • Develop training plans for maintenance staff

  • Submit QE's, track on time closure of associated actions

  • Perform new chemical distribution equipment acceptance walk in conjunction with customer and operations

  • Act as back up to operations manager as needed

  • Attend routine operations meetings (typically daily M-F)

  • Complete routine reports (internal and external)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5 + years in Semiconductor/TGCM experience

  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, valving, regulation, PLC operation, etc.

  • Thorough understanding of gas and/or chemical properties.

  • Knowledge of control systems helpful Ability to work independently as well as within a team

  • Ability to work well under high visibility situations, including making proper decisions per procedure Ability to proactively search for and offer equipment or process improvements Knowledge of Electronic Specialty Gases and Chemicals Knowledge of gas cabinets, distribution and chemical distribution systems a plus

  • Ability to write and revise standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed

  • Experience in Electronics Industry Strong oral and written communications skills Strong computer skills, especially in the Google products as well as in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical

The salary rate for this position in New York is $120,000.
