We have an opening for a Senior Manager of Strategic Finance.

The Senior Manager of Strategic Finance is responsible for the strategic buildout of firmwide reporting, publishing and distributions of financial materials.

In this capacity, the Senior Manager of Strategic Finance will:

  • Design firmwide reporting process to facilitate analytics or special project reporting to senior management;
  • Design firmwide governance and best practices approach to reoccurring activity;
  • Design monthly reporting across all administrative departments;
  • Act as product owner for reporting dashboards, driving the design, process and collaborate with other internal groups;
  • Ensure the accuracy of all newly developed tools and analytics;
  • Act as product owner in design and rollout of newly purchased or internally developed software systems;
  • Liaise with other administrative groups to ensure updated reporting processes are meeting desired needs;
  • Monitor activity across all departments using newly developed analytics and tools;
  • Work closely with firmwide departments to gather reporting requirements;
  • Provide senior management with monthly updates as needed;
  • Effectively operate within a team environment to collaborate on viable automation solutions;
  • Identify and eliminate redundant processes performed across Finance and related functional areas to serve changing needs of the global organization;
  • Ad-hoc reporting as requested by firm stakeholders and Finance management team.

Proficiencies:

  • Advanced proficiency in administering windows and web-based accounting programs, particularly for legal-specific accounting systems (Elite 3E);
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite applications; including Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • Advanced proficiency in financial applications;
  • Advanced knowledge of principles and practices of accounting;
  • Experience working in a transformation role within the finance function;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a finance transformation team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance;
  • At least five years of experience in managing people, preferably in a large environment; and, at least eight years of financial systems experience;
  • At least ten years of general accounting experience; or
  • At least five years of transformation expense;
  • Prior experience in managing general ledger maintenance processes;
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet Firm needs.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $150,800 and a maximum of $200,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
