Role and Responsibilities:

No Experience - No Problem! We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Galley; cafeteria on military installation Dishwasher. As the Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen.

  • Wash dishes, pots and utensils.
  • Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary.
  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
  • Follow sanitation policies.
  • Help prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times.
  • Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
  • Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party.
  • Take the temperature of Dish Machine.
  • Clean Dish Machine - clean grease dispenser daily.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma and/or GED.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • No experience needed but dishwashing experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and equipment is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, gran and lift up to fifty (25) lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
