EMI Technician

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Wiring of test items
• Ordering Supplies
• Organizing test lab, chambers, and equipment cage
• Collecting out of calibration equipment
• Laying out cables, per diagrams, for test set ups
• Perform electrical and EMI testing using test equipment and software
• Collecting test data and provide to engineer
• Receiving and Shipping test items
• Occasional travel depending on workload

The ideal candidate will need:

• 1 year experience as electrical technician or 2 years as an intern.
• Hands on experience with oscilloscope and digital multi-meter. Experience with Signal generator/Spectrum analyzer a plus
• Ability to follow simple block diagrams/schematics
• Microsoft word/Simple Data entry a must
• Ability to work well with others and follow directions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work directly with customers
• Ability to Swing Shift for short durations
