Job/Internship Description

The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Learn the responsibilities of an engineer while incorporating academic knowledge into hands-on work.
Develop working understanding of manufacturing, quality control and safety.
Gain hands-on experience working with other engineers, operators and manufacturing resources.
Work independently as well as with other cross-functional resources to complete various tasks and objectives.

Job Details:

  • Work independently as well as with cross functional teams (including but not limited to engineering, manufacturing, safety, quality functions) to implement process improvements on site by updating work instructions.

  • Review operations with manufacturing personnel, training manager, and engineering. This includes reviewing of processes, procedures, and work instructions both in an office setting as well as on the manufacturing floor

  • Learn safety policies and procedures

  • Understand the control documentation process in order to update work instructions critical for training and production

  • Prepare and present a summary of experiences and lessons learned to Management staff at conclusion of internship

  • Must have completed at least Freshman year of college while pursuing a Bachelor degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering

  • Working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides and also Microsoft Word desirable.

  • Willingness to learn new skills

  • Flexible schedule

  • Strong written, organizational, and communications skills

WORKING (Physical) CONDITIONS

  • Sitting for long periods of time

  • Use of Computer (audio/visual equipment)
