Position Summary

The Assistant Analyst, Reporting Operations, plays a crucial role in monitoring and managing media inventory using specialized tools. Their primary responsibility is to gather and analyze data from various sources and generate reports that contribute to financial and business decision-making. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate must possess a keen eye for detail, be proactive and analytical, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative team setting. Candidates should also have a natural curiosity, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Analyst supports the National Investment team by preparing, maintaining, and overseeing client's media schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Create Orion-specific documents such as flowcharts, MSAs (Master Service Agreements), and Allocations using Excel templates and internal databases.
  • Collaborate with Operations to streamline and automate processes across the organization.
  • Foster positive and professional relationships with all Orion staff members.
  • Provide assistance with ad hoc operations requests as needed.

Qualifications

Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an operations support role within the media or advertising industry a plus.
  • Media/agency/network, finance, accounting, experience a plus

Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability and or willingness to create complex formulas and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to integrate data from different sources to produce reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience with media buying systems, such as Media Ocean/MBOX products a plus.
  • Knowledge of ad tech and programmatic buying is a plus.
