Position Summary

IPG Mediabrands is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Growth Operations to play a key role in accelerating our agency's growth trajectory. This individual will work closely with the SVP of Growth Operations, supporting and implementing a cohesive strategy for agency growth initiatives. The role is critical for enhancing our new business processes, optimizing growth-related operations, and improving talent management during agency pitches. We are in search of a leader with a strategic orientation, strong leadership qualities, and a track record of fostering business growth within the advertising or media sector.

This role will report directly to the SVP of Growth Operations and will necessitate deep collaboration with the leadership team and agencies within the IPG Mediabrands network.

Located in NYC, this role will also require occasional travel to various agency offices to ensure cohesive alignment, collaboration, and the successful execution of growth initiatives

Responsibilities
  • Support for Growth Operations Leadership: Assist the SVP of Growth Operations in leading a task force focused on developing and executing a unified new business process that aligns with IPG Mediabrands' strategic growth objectives.
  • Facilitate Agency Collaboration: Strengthen collaboration and integration across agencies, identifying and leveraging opportunities for synergy and efficiency in developing new business strategies.
  • Operational Improvement: Contribute to the oversight of growth operations, including process enhancement, workflow design, and the adoption of innovative technologies or methodologies to boost effectiveness.
  • Consultant Coordination: Support the liaison with external consultants and partners to ensure their insights and services are seamlessly incorporated into our growth strategies and operations.
  • Strategic Planning Assistance: Aid in formulating and implementing strategic growth plans, coordinating with various teams such as new business, design, and other agency disciplines.
  • Metrics and Performance Monitoring: Help establish and track key performance indicators for growth activities, using data to inform decision-making and promote ongoing improvement efforts.

Skills & Experience
  • Proven Leadership: A minimum of 6-10 years of leadership experience in the advertising, marketing, or media industry, with a history of managing complex, cross-functional teams and projects successfully.
  • Strategic Acumen: Strong ability to develop and implement strategies that are in line with overall business goals, with meticulous attention to operational details.
  • Collaborative Ability: Excellent skills in promoting teamwork and collaboration across diverse groups, driving positive outcomes and collective achievement.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively conveying complex strategies and visions to a wide audience.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: An innovative and proactive approach to addressing challenges, dedicated to driving innovation and operational excellence.
  • Adaptability: Highly adaptable, capable of leading through change and navigating transitions with confidence and leadership.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related field is strongly preferred

The salary range for this position is posted below.
