What You Will Do:

Accountable for growth and development of the Haircare Prescription category on Redken. Responsible for the strategy, implementation, and evaluation of the business in Salon Centric and local chain accounts. As a Sr. Manager the responsibility includes the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including all promotional activities and product launches. Interact effectively with departments such as: sales, operations, finance, education, public relations, marketing services, creative, sales administration, global marketing team and senior management team. Monitor and analyze business results to recommend opportunities for improving plans and their execution.

  • Own category support calendar and plan including key promotions, in store merchandising, 360 support plans, activations and digital elements.
  • Own vision & strategy for launches and hero pillars. Work with POD & cross functional teams to execute key initiatives.
  • Ensure that launches are delivered on Time and On Budget. Strive for executional excellence on all marketing initiatives.
  • Proactively own sales results and category analytics to diagnose the business.
  • Develop forecast for areas of Haircare portfolio ownership, track and re-trend as needed. Ensure Demand Planning is current on latest estimates.
  • Set Pricing Strategy. Develop Sku Rationalization strategy. Route through necessary approval channels to meet account needs.
  • Understand market share gaps for both professional and consumer markets, identify white space and strategies to gain share and outperform competition.
  • Responsible for management meeting prep

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 5-7 years brand management experience, preferably with beauty industry-related experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills and forecasting experience.
  • Strong execution, leadership and consensus building/decision making skills.
  • Computer literacy on Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to travel domestically periodically (max. 25%).
