Job Description

We are seeking a Research Program Assistant II to work under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator and Research Program Associate. Will be responsible for coordinating clinical research participant scheduling and data collection at Johns Hopkins. The position will support the conduct of qualitative interviews, including scheduling and preparing for interviews, assisting with data collection and clarification, debriefing, and general administrative duties such as attendance and inventive tracking. This position will work closely with all members of the study team, including PIs, clinical teams, study coordinators, program associate, and financial manager.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists study staff with data collection, including qualitative interviewing, notetaking, data entry, and data clarification.
  • Assists staff to prepare for study participant interviews. Helps with interview guide reviewing, appointment scheduling, participant consent procedures.
  • Sets up protocol implementation tools, including interview checklists, research requisitions, and participant inventive distribution procedures.
  • Learns and follows all study procedures and protocols.
  • Participates in routine group meetings and/or study-specific teleconference.
  • Performs general administrative tasks, including drafting study-related correspondence and communication tracking.
  • Assists with study invoicing and reimbursement requests.
  • Has working knowledge of and complies with Good Clinical Practices and SKCCC Clinical Research Office policies.


Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
  • Two years related experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $15.50 - $26.00 HRLY ($20.75/hour targeted; Commensurate with experience)
