Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibilities for corrective action by using a variety of analytical and statistical tools.
  • Review customer complaints and drive resolution.
  • Quality Develop, implement, monitor, and control QA system to assure quality based on customer and/or product specifications.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve quality problems as needed.
  • Develop motivate, and train qualified personnel to QA standards.
  • Develop Control Plans, FMEA'S, Flow Charts, etc.
  • Provide customer complaint summary and trends to all personnel and management.
  • Improve QA system procedures and instructions (To the ISO901:2015 Standard).
  • Secondary Functions Train personnel in QA procedures, instructions, etc.
  • Monitor cost of quality, reduce wastes and non-value-added activity.
  • Layout and use of measuring tools.
  • Internal Auditing of QMS and support processes.
  • Ability to support APQP practices as a team member.
  • Ability to complete documentation for PPAP'S.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001-2015.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
  • Familiar with CMM equipment.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Pick up and implement the NIDEC QOS in the Syracuse facility.
  • Register NIDEC East Syracuse with an ISO Registrar
  • Conduct training on the QOS and Lean Tools / Problem Solving to office and manufacturing personnel.
  • Assist in Root Cause Problem Solving and assuring solid implementation of sustainable corrective actions.
  • Effective communication between team members and organizational departments
  • Work to be sure that the facility continued to improve and stay within the guidelines of ISO9001:2015

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable engineering field or equivalent experience.

Salary

75k-90k DOE
