Job Summary:

This entry level Sales position offers competitive salary packages and benefits while providing the qualified candidate with an opportunity to learn and develop Client Engagement skills which focus on team based collaboration and delivering value to Microchip's clients across many industries. As a Client Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business. You will be expected to reframe the client's thinking and build consensus for Microchip's solutions, co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.

This position provides an opportunity to grow and advance in a professional Sales Organization. Candidates will work in and with local regional offices and teams and have access to a tremendous number of resources!

Job Responsibilities

• Own and drive the company relationship with the assigned customer base
• Work effectively within a team environment to successfully develop and implement sales strategies
• Communicate effectively with Microchip Product divisions
• Be self-motivated and aspire to provide the customer with the highest level of support
• Maintain up to date knowledge of their customer's products, market, competitive landscape and internal organization
• Consistently meet or exceed sales goal

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering discipline
• Technical understanding of a market specific segment like process, energy, automation technology or similar
• 0-3 years of experience working in a Sales or Marketing role
• Able to work proficiently in both autonomous and team environments
• Solid business acumen and curious by nature
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• In depth sales and product training will be provided
• Must be able to travel locally in assigned territory
